EaCastillo00 Posted July 11, 2017 Report Share Posted July 11, 2017 Guys i dont know what to do, i dont know how, but the thread inside my carb where the iddle screw goes stripped, i dont know what to do, can it be repaired or sent to the lathe, maybe they can make new thread, dont now im kinda stressed, what do you guys think?? Ayesully810 Posted July 11, 2017 Report Share Posted July 11, 2017 (edited) stock carbs with removed tors im assuming? you could always try re drilling it to see if it cleans it up at all and re tapping it. if not you could try and drill and tap to the next size and find a screw similar to the idle screw that it comes (smooth pointy size) with the tors removal kit as long as it moves the slide up. bansheesandrider Posted July 11, 2017 Report Share Posted July 11, 2017 When this happened to me, I took a 1/4 inch bolt and ground the end to a round nose and removed the threads for abot 3/8 inch.
