ClaudeMachining
First thing I would do is take spark plug boots off the wires cut about 1/4 inch off wires and put boots back on.....Good idea! ClaudeMachining
I also got a Nology coil and wire... I didint use it at firstr 'cause i wanted to set it up good, then try the nology stuff to see if there is any difference. So maybe i will try it tomorrow. I always change only one parameter at time, easier to debug.
RagunCajun
I thought OEM electronics were most reliable and should be used...?
ClaudeMachining
I thought OEM electronics were most reliable and should be used...?Thats the common saying, but it's based on the fact that oem works fine and are cheap to get. It doenst mean that Nology stuff didnt work as good as oem. I got Nology stuff for a good price and im suspecting an electrical problem, so why not trying them? ?Envoyé de mon SM-G935W8 en utilisant Tapatalk
ClaudeMachining
These plug boots are known to go to shit fairly often... atleast they have for me.... they should test at 5k ohms... anything above that and their shotThe Nology hot wire arent good? ? I did some research, and didnt find bad reviews. Some say that it doenst make a difference, but it's the worst review i saw. Might have to make a mount for it and cut the wires to length. It came with the mount, the wires are litte bit too long but it's ok. I got B9ES on it. Fired up seconds ago, idled good but no gas left lol!! I'll go to the airport tomorrow to get some AvGas. If it pull as hard t'ill 9500-10000, that will be a fucking nice engine. Ayesully810
Don't you have to run a non resistor plug with nology? hence the b9es. Cant remember if I read that somewhere or not

I don't get this.. only ground I have on bike is the coil obviously to the frame and one for the kill switch. Lots of other ppl run the same setup and have no problems so what is the point of this? genuinely asking Edited July 7, 2017 by Ayesully810
ClaudeMachining
You must have a good ground in between your engine and your frame. Yamaha rely on the engine/frame connection, which is not the best way. I grinded the pc, now im sure that i have a good contact.
