Banshee won't start

Recommended Posts

I have a 2003 Yamaha Banshee twin 350 and I bought it a couple months ago it ran hard very good but the guy did tell me I had to adjust the carbs. My problem is that it won't start I have new coil pack and spark plugs,  fresh fuel 32:1, and Fresh rebuild Carbs . It will only start if I put gas manually thru the carbs can it be the reeds? I haven clear fuel lines so I can see gas flowing into the carbs

Sounds like you have an issue with the carbs. If it starts and runs by feeding fuel to it then there is an issue feeding it fuel automatically. Which is what your carbs do.

If it was a reed issue, it wouldn't matter if it got fuel or not.

plz tell me if u get this resolved. Dealing with the same issue. My slides are in the right way btw. I have to put gas in the cylinder plug holes to get it to start on its own.  After it sits for an hour or so and gets cold. no starty. post updates if fixed plz! :)
