Rapture
My bike has started running a bit strange. If i run full throttle for say 10 seconds or more, then return to half throttle, then back to full throttle quickly it seems to bog down and i have to wait a few seconds and tease it back to wide open again. Could this be the carbs not filling up quick enough? I can't see it being a jetting issue IMO. Running it through the gears wide open is perfectly fine. Any ideas? trickedcarbine
Possible scenario. It is starving for fuel. You are sucking the bowls dry and they recover when you let off.

ginger
either that, or do you think the RPM is dropping enough under half throttle that it is struggling to pull and needs to be down shifted? 6th gear the motor has to work a lot harder to recover the momentum

So i don't think it can be this.
gusto
What size pilot? Tried moving a clip on your needle? Does it bog when you get off the throttle a little or when you get off the throttle a lot? Edited June 20, 2017 by gusto
