AZblueshee
I have 91 banshee with with fmf fatty pipes and power core silencers. It's bored .40 Over with no airbox currently running k&n pod filters with outwear covers. Main jets I am running now are #310 and pilots are #30. The bike runs and idles fine it just gets hot really fast and I was told that a lean condition can cause overheating, any suggestions where my jetting should be?? Also my elevation is 2,600ft
sheerider11
That's plenty of fuel. Is it getting hot or over heating? Does the throttle hang or run away? Did you check for coolant flow when running? Coolant full? There's a few more things you can check. But check the simple stuff first. Strm Trpr
Make sure your intakes are tight.Torque the screws to 120in•lbs.You may have to go over them multiple times to get them all equal.Make sure there are no tears in the intakes where the cross-over tube attaches.30 pilots and 310 mains should be on the rich side at your elevation.Make sure your carbs are synced at idle and part throttle. And ultimately do a leak down test when shee starts acting up.
