hoppedupandcutdown
Pic won't upload. What does this do unplugging it? Unplug the tores also? Either unplug it or plug the other 2 on the carbs back in.
Brandonb028
I already had them plugged in I can try unplugging them. I don't see that dot on the slide ether in the picture. Is it only on one slide? If so which one?
hoppedupandcutdown
Both, if you have one in backwards, you have them both in backwards. They only go in the wrong way in the wrong carb. The windows are both on the right sides of the carbs IIRC
hoppedupandcutdown
The dot is not in the picture, the cut-out that should face the air filter is.
Brandonb028
Ok gotcha. Then there right throttle works fine slides easy.
hoppedupandcutdown
Working easy has nothing to do with being backwards. But if you marked them should be good. Are you sure you put the hose on the correct nubs on the carbs?

hoppedupandcutdown
How long did you try to pull start without that crossover hose to get really hot? That's a huge air leak and could have done considerable damage.
Brandonb028
No super long. What kind of damage are we talking?
Brandonb028
It didn't get hot enough to blow it up I Mean it tried to bump it and back fired and fell on its face and i stopped. Didn't let it over heat. Have 110psi ish on both cylinders on compression t st also
hoppedupandcutdown
I would hope none, but I've tried to pull start something until it was "really hot" Without that hose the motor won't be able to draw fuel, so it would be super lean. Might at least try new plugs. That hose not being there should have been your issue and putting one on, it should have started right up. Brandonb028
Tried the hose and tried kicking and pull starting again with no luck. It doesn't even really try to fire it just pops really bad. Installed new plugs(without hose on) havnt tried new plugs with hose on now. New plugs are very black also. New plugs again with hose on?
