nmrichardson
Hi all I was told today that you can not mix and match top and bottom crank cases They have to be used in matched pairs ? Any truth in this ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Assemble and make sure everything fits nicely, then slowly tightened things down as a dry fit while making sure everything rotates freely until completely secured and torqued. I would recommend a matched set, but if you have to use a mis matched set, this is how I would proceed. special06shee
Spurdy nailed it. Mix matched cases are running around everywhere and 99% of the time just as reliable as matching cases.
sheerider11
Had a motor that had them, ran great. Another motor, not so much. It's 50/50 working out. I bet cases made within the same year will work
