RoccothebeastQC
Hey guys, Banshee 2007 380cc V force 3 Toomey T5 Main 320 Pilot 27.5 Ok... I'm kind of lost on this. I'll put you in context. When I bought my banshee 2 month ago I tested/ran it at the seller and when I was home without any issue. Everything run great but see little hesitation at low torque and I know it can be better. So I decide to put it a part, put entire bike new bushimg and bearing and rebuilt carb ( at the same time fix the little leak from the bowl hose too) when I put it back together I`m still have a little leak from the right carb (was rebuilted with a shindy rebuilt kit and float height adjusted at 20.5-21) very little leak but nothing the other side! Normal? And when i ride it hard this morning gearbox oil was spitting big time by the vent hose. Keep in mind that no hose was pinched or clogged. It happened twice and make the tube longer to prevent to have my leg soak of oil. Wtf? Hhheelllpppppp! Thanks -Steve-
RoccothebeastQC
I want to mention too that I'm pretty sure my crank seal gearbox side is ok because bike is running great and dont have more smoke from this side pipe... hoppedupandcutdown
If you're certain the crankcase is NOT pressurizing the trans, then for sure the rear vent hose (under the rear most motor mount) is pinched.
RoccothebeastQC
I heard that banshee with mods will spit gearbox oil because motor spin faster than normal? I don't beleve in this... I don't perform a leak test because I don't have the gage. But what can presurize the gearbox case without the crank seal? And the gearbox oil was set to 1400ml for make sure it's not overfilled... that was my first thinking! The only mod I made that touch the gearbox it's a moose case saver and I change the rubber seal behind the white plastic parts for make sure I have no leak! Maybe it vome from there? RoccothebeastQC
Why it was not doing this when I try it just before bought it! It begin just after I put it a parts... and I'm sure that no hose are pinched or clogged... the only work I perform was new coil, cap and plug, rebuilt carb, moose case saver, oversized rad and some bushing and bearing.. RoccothebeastQC
Just go in my garage and pulled the gearbox oil cap off and heard pressure come out! How it can happen? Vent are not clogged and rode it since 2 hours
ClaudeMachining
Le plus simple est de faire un leak test sans le bouchon d'huile. Le testeur est facile à faire et va te coûter 25$ Envoyé de mon SM-G935W8 en utilisant Tapatalk

RoccothebeastQC
Because the rear hose is pinched. I'll check another time again and again but I'm pretty sure not!
RoccothebeastQC
Ok guys... Just made some test, Vent from waterpump case: free air passing with oil bubble (oil cap open or not) Vent from the back: Free air passing when oil cap is remove and when cap is srewed tight, not! Pressure is made. WTF? Make no sense...

With both oil it spit from the vent. Spit around 500ml in less than 1km but full trottle.
