Serval cub build in the UK info/advice needed.

Recommended Posts

Hello from the UK, as you may be aware we don't get the Banshee here so my plan to build a 421cc 4 mm cub motor for a street bike is not so easy. I have a pal in California who is going to let me have a short engine just for the cost of shipping and will ship a kit to build the rest with it if I get it sent to him.

What I need is a one stop shop for the whole kit so I am after recommendations for an outfit who can do that. I've tried a couple just searching the internet, one tells me I need porting work done and a single carb, another I tried has bad bad reviews once you start looking so I need some help here.

I'll be getting a frame made and using it as a street bike so need some reliability/rideabilty, I'm quite happy to build the motor myself, I know the RZ motor reasonably well. From looking for info online I'm fairly sure of the parts I need based on the Serval cub jugs probably running twin carbs. Any advice welcome though on components/set up but what I'm really after is a reliable supplier who will sell me what I need as a complete kit and not rip me off.

Serval would be sweet. I'll probably catch shit for it, but you should talk with Roger Allen at Wicked Motorsports. He builds a lot of Street bikes like RZ's, RD's, etc. The next choice would be Tony Doukas at TDR as he also builds a lot of two stroke road bikes. I believe they are both capable of international shipping and will have everything you will need.

Spoke to Roger at wicked, we had a good conversation and I think will be able to sort everything for me, looking good so far.
