It is my second so i'm not totally clueless just wondering where to start on a bike that has sat so long. Anything i need to watch out for? Was planning to do a leak down and compression check, clean carbs and chain and i have some random tires laying around... anything else? Ayesully810 Posted April 14, 2017 Report Share Posted April 14, 2017 Id say depends on what your plans are if u just wanna ride it as is.. First thing I would do is take the pipes off and blow them out with compressed air to make sure there are no rats nest in there. Take off filters and carbs, clean and inspect them. Throw some new plugs in. Drain all fluids and replace. Do a compression test and if it reads well, id start it up and ride it lol Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
