Jetting change/ starting issues

I'm running stock carbs, 27.5 pilot, 270 mains, needle one clip down, dmc 916 exhaust, elevation 850ft, air/fuel 1 turn out, 6" pods, no air box, not ported

 

I got rid of the airbox/filter and put on pods, put in 27.5 pilots (from 25 stock)

 

Starting is my issue, it's like I have to warm it up by kicking it over before it starts. Once it starts it works awesome, can't wrap my head around it

I think you are gonna need a little bit more main as well.

^^That. At 500' asl, pods and pipes with no port work we run 300-310

I run 330 mains with 30 pilot air screws 1.5 turns out. with pipes and cones at 500 ft elevation needle 3rd clip
