dirtbike killer
I have the cv-2 33mm. I'm going to try a bigger carb, and dyno that. I have a 36mm just setting around.

Leadfoot350
I have no idea what you are trying to say with your dynos. You say that there is a 10 hp increase at 6000 rmps but on the graphs I dont see it. Are you being sarcastic in your post? I really have no idea what you are saying is better carb wise. Do you have a graph of stock vs cv on one paper where we can see the lines right next to each other and see easier? Or maybe the second picture is that or maybe the second picture is two runs with the cv carb????????????????
Fireman-hott
The stock as 6000 are putting out about 25hp. The single at 6000 is putting out 35HP The extra size on the 36mm might help make up some of that. As for which is better, if you ride MX, fast trails it doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize which one revs up faster which is what you would want. Fireman-hott
Oh and far as I can tell by 8500/9000 they equal out anyway. Also 51.9 - 48 = 3.9 not 5hp that extra 4 horses dont' mean shit since by the time the stocks get to that height your single has already pulled away and you've lost. dirtbike killer
So true, I love it! Leadfoot, get a blank square graph and make one with this info. Thats what I did. The stock duals power below 6000 thousand is so bad, I didn't even have it printed out. Single is killing the dual up til 6500, 7000 there even. gumby
so what the what are u saying is the single really worth it or not i guess is what i wanna know
dirtbike killer
It was well worth it for me. The single carb setup has a better average though the power band. Alot more bottom end. Yes its losing 4 hp up top, but for a gain of 10 on the bottom. If you look at the dyno I gain a lot more than I lose. The shee is more fun to ride, and easyer to tune.
