I bought a aftermarket clutch basket and heavy duty clutch from tusk with springs. The clutch cushions are shot so I bought new ones. I cannot get them in. They are way too tight. JUSTWANNARACE Posted March 25, 2017 Report Share Posted March 25, 2017 Put everyother one in.. set the other ones in which will be angled up. Use a hammer and smack the side that is sticking up at an angle. So basically your not hitting the top of the puck you are hitting the side to compress it. What I did was took the pucks and the wide end I put facing down and then I put the on a angle and hit them in with a polymer rod and a huge 6 lb dead blow.
