I need some more advise I just a got a 2003 banshee roller with a 6 inch stretch I was wondering since I dont wana go outrages yet on the engine how would it be the best way to start building an engine for trail riding cause money is tight since I'm laid off when I got the roles it was everything except the engine

buy a somewhat built engine from here. It will be cheaper. even a good running ported motor off of a REPUTABLE member!

 

if you don't you will start buying cases tranny clutch and then these dudes will talk you into buying a serval and a 4mill stroker and some 39mm carbs and you will go broke.

 

and some jackass like me will buy your parts when you are parting out the bike.

And this is used for MX, right? 

 

Buy built for sure.

May be selling my Redline serval that was built specifically for MX.

get rid of that 6 inch arm and go stock length if your doing trail riding. thank me later.

and if your money is TIGHT and you wanna save as much as possibly. Buy a good stock motor off someone here that is ready to drop in and go. stock carbs with pod filters and a decent set of used pipes off someone here. you can find some fmfs cheap here im sure
