Davy's Grin Posted March 15, 2017 Report Posted March 15, 2017 Hi new here been lurking for awhile tho so I decided to make account. My problem is that wen I bought my banshee last spring it came with pwk 35s. An pods Personally I think there to big for my setup. I have played with the jetting witch I ended up at 145/45 with dek needle middle clip. An it's still to rich in my opinion. Above Sea level I think is around 1100. My engine mods are +4 timing .T5 pipes. Bored .20 over.Boysen reeds. No port work. Personally I feel that pwk28 would be a better suit for me. What you guys think? from the depths of oblivion Quote
Davy's Grin Posted March 15, 2017 Author Report Posted March 15, 2017 Yes I have a bunch of jets for pwks from playing with them I thought they to big for my setup. I have no idea why the old owner bought them for the machine. An yes I would like to stay away from stockers. from the depths of oblivion Quote
bluebanshee98 Posted March 15, 2017 Report Posted March 15, 2017 Idk why everyone hates stock carbs. They work just fine. I never had any issues with mine. I think cam made a motor that had stock carbs on it and it made hella good power for what it was Quote
Davy's Grin Posted March 15, 2017 Author Report Posted March 15, 2017 I have nothing against stock carbs but I have a bunch of jets for kehin carbs. Plus my banshee has billet intakes with rubber boots attached to them. I found different ones to attach to them to match them for a smaller carb. Instead of the 35mm from the depths of oblivion Quote
Ducman Posted March 15, 2017 Report Posted March 15, 2017 Not sure what kind of riding you do, but a good port job on the cylinders and the 35's would be great, or at least not as overkill. Quote
Davy's Grin Posted March 15, 2017 Author Report Posted March 15, 2017 Mostly trail riding an screwing around on hills nothing like mega hills are drag racing. I would like a port job later in the future but don't really wanna tear my engine apart yet. Cause I would probably go over board an do 4mm. Plus it's cold an snowing here an my shop don't really have heat lol. from the depths of oblivion Quote
Davy's Grin Posted March 15, 2017 Author Report Posted March 15, 2017 Thank you guys for clearing that up for me I appreciate the info. from the depths of oblivion Quote
trickedcarbine Posted March 16, 2017 Report Posted March 16, 2017 The 28mm PWK's would suit that build much better then the 35's. Quote
