dalegoldston Posted March 8, 2017 Report Posted March 8, 2017 Bike has pro circuit pipes, ported motor @58 ish hp. Single pwk35 keihin carb with 190 main. Think this is a descent starting point or need to go bigger. I feel I was running a bit fat on the old cylinders. Quote

dalegoldston Posted March 8, 2017 Author Report Posted March 8, 2017 No that was the setup on my old cylinders. Just wondering if it's a good place to start or am I going to be way lean? Quote
dalegoldston Posted March 8, 2017 Author Report Posted March 8, 2017 (edited) my elevation is about 600 feet. The setup is at the top of the post if you need to know something specific let me know please Edited March 8, 2017 by dalegoldston Quote
dalegoldston Posted March 8, 2017 Author Report Posted March 8, 2017 (edited) I have a graydon proline intake, v-force 4 reeds, no air box just pod filter. Edited March 8, 2017 by dalegoldston Quote
rjdgriff Posted March 8, 2017 Report Posted March 8, 2017 I'm confused, what does any of this have to do with a serval? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
penguin Posted March 8, 2017 Report Posted March 8, 2017 I think he is saying the carb he has now was on his serval motor. Now it's on his ported stock cylinders. And curious if the jetting will be off. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote

penguin Posted March 9, 2017 Report Posted March 9, 2017 Hmm. Ok. I see that now. Good question. Where did the serval come in at then. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
dalegoldston Posted March 9, 2017 Author Report Posted March 9, 2017 Sorry, my excellent explaining skills at their best. I had on my quad a set of ported cylinders @58 ish hp, pro circuit pipes, v-force 4 reeds, single pod filter, no air box, Single pwk35 keihin carb with 190 main, 57 pilot ??(have to verify this) I just installed a serval stock stroke and was asking if the above was a good starting point for jetting or if its going to be way off. I did fire it up tonight. But did not run it down the road. Quote
dalegoldston Posted March 9, 2017 Author Report Posted March 9, 2017 Sorry I should have stated had ported oem cylinders, now have serval cylinders. So you have ported OEM cylinders with Pc pipes and a single pwk35mm carb? What manifold you running? Airbox or pod filter? Any other mods? Quote
rjdgriff Posted March 9, 2017 Report Posted March 9, 2017 Sorry I should have stated had ported oem cylinders, now have serval cylinders.ok cool, the serval should be slightly more efficient on fuel. If it was jetted for your altitude, it SHOULD be close and possibly rich. (If serval was jetted properly for your altitude and current temp) All the same, I would jet up a touch, run it on new plugs 1-5or 6 if you can and shut it down. Pull plugs, post pics for us of plugs and we can guide you from there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1 Quote
dalegoldston Posted March 13, 2017 Author Report Posted March 13, 2017 Thanks for the comments. I had Randy at Stuart's atv jet it on the dyno. Quote

dalegoldston Posted March 13, 2017 Author Report Posted March 13, 2017 (edited) I did not see will have to wait to till I get back home. I was disappointed with the hp numbers though. Right at 50. Was expecting more. I have to keep the revs higher as well. Edited March 13, 2017 by dalegoldston Quote
