fasstbanshee
Looking for advise with what to next with my carbs. Do I soda blast them or have them anodized. or are they junk I used the wrong cleaner in the ultrasonic cleaner and it turned my 35mm keihn carb black, luckily I was doing one at a time I used the correct cleaner in the ultrasonic cleaner and it is helping but not perfect. fasstbanshee
Glass beading makes sense, does the idle, air screw need to come out for that?
trickedcarbine
Leave it in but threaded in and blast close to it. Maybe pull them and put a small cork plug in them.
Keno
Sounds like the chemical dips for aluminum polishing is phosphoric acid. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

#1JUANstunna
I use dawn dish soap in my ultrasonic washer. What detergent were you using? It's probably just all the shit being pulled out of the pores of the aluminum. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
draggins10
What else can you do with the ultrasonic cleaner? I was thinking about buying the harbor freight one but not sure if it's worth it just to clean carbs:

#1JUANstunna
would ya recommend it to anyone or? looks like its around 180ish on ebay I love it. I just wish we would have bought a bigger one. Big for saws and mower carbs it's fine. I've done my tm 38's in this one, one at a time though. trickedcarbine
Had one I sold a while back that you could fit a 5R110 transmission case in. I'm bummed I don't have the space to keep stuff like that.
