SlowMoe
I bought this banshee a couple months ago. Nice clean roller with a set of sand and dirt tires. T5's 34mm carbs and a complete motor minus Pistons. So I sold the crank jugs and pipes so I could upgrade to a 4 mill crank, do some porting and get some better pipes. I should be getting my crank Pistons and jugs in the mail tommorow, so I am starting to clean up the cases and put the tranny in currently. Pics Old gasket residue on cases Mating surfaces cleaned up with scotch brite Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

bigweav81
It's more then likely plastic not bolted down. It does kind of look like it, but notice daylight peeking through the rh side of radiator. Sent from my SM-S820L using Tapatalk

SlowMoe
Does this look right as far as where the shift forks go? And is it common for this shaft to have about 1/8" of play in and out? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
trickedcarbine
The excessive shaft movement will go away when the clutch is assembled properly.
SlowMoe
Here are some pics of the jugs I received, and some trouble spots that will be fixed using porting tools And say goodbye to this puny exhaust port. Very different port shape and size to come Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

bigweav81
How much did you pay for them? What bore? Sent from my SM-S820L using Tapatalk
SlowMoe
I paid $400 for a brand new wiseco 4mm LR crank, Pistons, cylinders and head. I believe they are 65.5mm but appear to have been re-sleeved. Maybe not though Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
bigweav81
Not to bad really. You plan on having crank trued, and welded? Sent from my SM-S820L using Tapatalk
SlowMoe
Wasn't planning on it. Maybe when I tear it down for annual inspection. Do you think I should do it now? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
