sheerider11
I guess my port is too wide too, right? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk If it eats rings in 3 months. Then yes. Ask me how I know.
SlowMoe
I guess time will tell. But it has a more generous roof arch than stock. I feel good about it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
registered user
your at about 75%. with a generous arch it shouldn't kill rings to bad. hopefully it runs to your liking because with the amount of piston pop out at the deck it doesn't appear youll be able to drop the cylinder back down at all (part of the reason I suggest not to shoot for the moon right away incase something goes sideways and have to lower it back down)
SlowMoe
Well worst case I can raise the transfers, right? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
SlowMoe
For some reason my transmission is binding up when I rotate the assembly, and the manual I have is hard to read, so I'm not sure if it is put together properly..... How does this look? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
SlowMoe
Ok found something that doesn't quite look right. This gear is supposed to spin independently of the shaft but it is in somewhat of a bind; it takes some force to spin it; is that normal? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Take it apart, the bushing walked out of the gear. You may get lucky and be able to drive it back in. You may have to replace the gear though too. SlowMoe
You were right, I was able to set the bushing back in with a socket and a hammer. Lost a damned circlip though lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
SlowMoe
Is it just me or are the bearings in the wrong ends of the crank Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
SlowMoe
Shouldn't the bearing with the o ring be on the stator side? Or am I tripping? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

SlowMoe
No the beArings are backwards. The one with the c clip goes on the clutch side and it's on the stator side! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
sleeper06
Maybe it's the pic but looks like flywheel snout is on clutch side. Either way most non oem crankshaft are interchangeable simply remove oring and clip n reverse them. Also if there is a full clip on the bearing test fit the cases, I've seen quite few instances where the clip slot in the cases are not deep enough for whatever clip is supplied. This results in premature bearings explosion and cracked races . Then you will be building it twice
sleeper06
Another example why wiseco shit is junk, can't even press bearings on the rite end
