Brokeshee
Hey banshee boys just wondering if there's any easy ways to fix exhaust leaks from the headers. I'm thinking about buying new pipes but if I could fix my exhaust would be cheaper it is leaking as in smoke is escaping. It started when my exhaust pipe broke from the silencer while riding. Any tips
Ayesully810
So your header started leaking exhaust from the exhaust port when ur silencer broke? Try new orings in the headers to get a better seal My old stock cylinders leaked oil from them because they were old and worn even with new oring and tight springs, the pipe didnt seal as good because of pipes being taken on and off, wear on the exhaust port where the header goes on etc.
Brokeshee
No not from the exhaust port from where the the head pipe clamps to the frame. 1 silencer broke completely off from the stinger just where the silencer is and I weilded it back on but it's crooked now an yeah not a good situation Sent from my SM-A310Y using Tapatalk

Ayesully810
So your head pipe is cracked on the mount where it bolts to the exhaust hanger? Edited January 31, 2017 by Ayesully810

Do you think there's any other ways? What's this exhaust wrap stuff will that stop the leak? Sent from my SM-A310Y using Tapatalk
sleeper06
Cut it apart n start over with it bolted in place , tack it in a cpl spots then weld. You could rig the silencer where it's leaking or epoxy it for now. Something tells me it FUBAR tho.
