Losing power: HELP?

So I know the easy answer to my problem, get the holeshot! Now that we got the smart ass part out of the way, my issue...

When I get in behind a group of guys, all of the snow/ice dust is making me lose half of my power. Motor is a 10mm serval. Shearer sb inframes. 35pwk w/ 6" pods (no outerwears).

Normally running egt's around 1200 (I like to play it safe). When I get in the snow cloud and lose power, egt's are around 7-800.

My 2 guesses are snow moisture clogging air filters? Or all that ice hitting the pipes and cooling exhaust too much? Any thoughts or opinions to fix this problem?

You can hear the bike not revving up like it should in the video.

You need to find a way to keep the pods breathing dry air. A couple sheets of the cheap thin carbon fiber and 3M resin makes an easy shroud.

Got any pics? I made covers on the sides that angle in to the back of the carbs. Didn't help at all.

This is from about 2 hours earlier that same day.  EGT's maxxed out at 1180 so still a bit rich but nice and safe.  Don't judge my cornering, I was a bit behind this year and just got the chassis scaled and set up last night.

Motor runs like a champ! Took it out for another class after this and dominated. Filters look squeaky clean, first thing I did after this race was pull the seat and check filters. That's why I'm so confused. Could it possibly be anything else?
