AmericanBuilt
Plenty of ppl running them. I have no complaints out of the standard travel I bought. Best bang for the buck imo. bigweav81
Works dual rate. Brand new, and set up for me. $485 out the door from atv galaxy. Imo be honest with yourself. Is LT a better set up......yeah, but are you the kind of rider who's going to use everything you can get? I'm not lol. I don't DDQ shit, or jump in anyway. They have other advantages as well I'm sure. Sent from my SM-S820L using Tapatalk
ClaudeMachining
Awesome I'll probably just do that then. By deleting the key all you do is unplug it right? Sent from my Z831 using Tapatalk The number 2, if you ground it, you dont need key anymore.
trickedcarbine
As far as LT is concerned, yes there are budget arms out there. But there is no budget LT shocks. So anyone who has the cash for the right LT shocks should have the cash for quality A arms.

AmericanBuilt
Has anyone upgraded from works to Elka? Was there day and night difference or not enough to justify the extra cash? Sent from my Z831 using Tapatalk
AmericanBuilt
screwing around last night, fit up some old parts waiting for new. Time Machine
Has anyone upgraded from works to Elka? Was there day and night difference or not enough to justify the extra cash? Sent from my Z831 using Tapatalk I ride at St.Anthony. We ride fast, no jumping, and always make a stop at Choke Cherry Dune for some drag racing with who ever's there. I switched from stock to Alba +2+1 standard travel A arms and Elka Legacy standard travel shocks, front and rear, two seasons ago. No regrets. After talking directly to Elka tech support I didn't feel that LT offered much advantage, and, the front LT shocks are much larger and add weight. I'm building Shee #2 this winter. I wanted a lighter front end. Bought Alba +2+1 standard travel A arms and Fox Float 3 shocks. If you buy from Alba, tell them you don't want to pay full retail, they'll usually bargain with you. AmericanBuilt
Relocation bracket showed looks good besides paint. Which is no big deal. Nothing some touch up paint can't fix. Time to order up them +2 +1 Alba arms. Sent from my Z831 using Tapatalk
RagunCajun
I thought my stage 3 Elkas would be smoother. Guess I expected too much.

AmericanBuilt
When will you guys learn. Works shocks is all you need. Screw suspension Sent from Planned Parenthood I've never rode a bike with aftermarket suspension. This being said I think anything with work better then stock. Leaning towards works, unless others want to share there shock experiences. Lmao thanks everyone Sent from my Z831 using Tapatalk
AmericanBuilt
issue with works. when buying new, they really are not cheap for what you get. they are normally cookie cutter setups. spending a couple more bucks for a complete elka setups is worth it IMO. Also, shocks are only as good as the person dialing them in and the info given to them. From what I'm seeing on eBay id have to agree. Looks like I could get a complete set of stage 3 elkas for 100 more then 2 front works shocks. Correct me if I'm looking at the wrong shocks but works looks more expensive? AmericanBuilt
Works fronts are around $500ish for the cheap ones, then like $700ish with remote rezzies.. Elkas kit is $1000 for all.Gonna have to go with elkas on this one. Sent from my Z831 using Tapatalk
