Cotton eyed Joe
The trick is to balance a nose heavy quad. The easiest place for me to practice is on a sand hill. Also, start out slow to get the feel of the balance point, then try shifting or try one at a higher speed.
NYUK
good wheelie riders work the back brake, throttle and clutch.become really friendly with the back brake.
fixitrod
The banshee is tough to cat walk wheelie because of the type of power it has. To feel the balance point just pick it up in the drive way and sit it on it's grab bar. The front wheels will be straight in the air. Put your foot on the grab bar and hang on to the handle bar (all this without the engine running). Push it forward a little at a time. You'll see where the balance point is.... it's way higher than you think. Then, just get the balls to drop the clutch a few times and let it rip. You'll flip up and may even fall off if you don't hang on, but it's not bad if you try from a dead stop. Once you get use to that, you can pop them when running is second. It's all practice and bruises just like most things. And, it's not as easy on the banshee as a 4 stroke. I can ride a wheelie better on my sons 80cc than my banshee. Yamaha350T
Its easy to learn to wheelie on a four stroke instead of a banshee. I learned on blasters, warriors, 400exs and raptors. You come to almost a complete stop, sit on the back of the seat, and drop the clutch. When the front end comes up, youll feel it when it hits the balance point. When your just starting to do wheelies, your stomach will probably drop at the balance point. As soon as you hit it, just tap the brake for just a second to bring it a little down, then hit the gas to bring it back up. You try to keep it in the area of the balane point. When you do these slow wheelies, you don't get hurt if you hit the grab bar, just jump off the back and land on your feet. Its pretty easy when you get used to doing them. verdoneracing
the best way for me is to rev and drop the clutch. But once you do a few good ones the fear of falling back will go away.

AbsoLut
heh i remember doin my first wheelie on my banshee.. fuckin racked it and bent the grab bar.. but it came back in 5th on dirt WHICH BRINGS ME TO A GOOD QUESTION (for once) What's the best mod/setup to do to a banshee for ridin wheelies.. that's all i do is ride wheelies.. and a little trail ride everynow and then. I read somewhere on here that a -2.5 swingarm helps a lot So what would you guys recommend and where can i get it.. and how much is all this shit gonna cost me.. And how come whenever people see you riding a wheelie they automatically think you're tryin to show off? 9 times outta 10 when i ride wheelies i'm by myself in a remote straight where no one is.. then some fucker comes up on a z400.. "nice wheelie show off" i hate those kinda pricks i ride wheelies because i enjoy it, not because i want to show off... Whens the last time you got laid ridin a wheelie for some ATV hookers?
