I cannot remove the small nut attached to the screw and cannot simply pull them out because I think that might be welded. What can I do to remove this? Release the clutch cable, work the lever to see if the rod indeed will move. Use a magnetic Ben to try and retrieve it from the bore. If it won't come, you will have to split the cases.
