10 Inch Rear Wheels with Knobbies

10" isn't a very good wheel size. There are far more tire options out there for a 9" wheel. I would suggest switching.

As far as tires go, the CST Pulse and Ohtsu MR501 are the best performing tires for a Banshee.

You can buy a full set of CST Pulse on ebay for $350.

Which one has better traction for drag racing on a dirt track out of the Pulse and Ohtsu? Or would there not be any noticeable difference? My ohtsu hooked up great when they were new but as they wore down to around 1/2 thread seems like I don't get near the traction anymore and the knobbies are getting really rounded Edited by hotrodbanshee

You suggest these over ITP's?

I could've told you that.

But you didn't .....

It's obvious that clutchluck was looking for information on how to achieve the look of the quad he posted in his initial pic.....not suggestions on tire performance. As I would like to achieve the same look, I have been doing research and sharing my findings to hopefully help clutchluck with his question and anyone else trying to achieve this look.

Looks over performance is stupid. Further, those tires haven't been available in YEARS. I would know, I had many sets of them.

It's pretty simple.. Google search for ATV tires.

After you realize there's hardly any options for a good dirt tire for that size wheel, you can come back and apologize.

The advice I was giving is based on many years of experience buying and testing tires.

I didn't see any sense in wasting his time with stupid wheel/tire setups.

And to add to that, buy a smaller wheel. 10" is junk

Or keep asking until enough people tell you that some magical 10" tire will dead hook in Vaseline. People keep asking until they hear what they want.

I had a weird tire/wheel size when I got my bike. I had to change.

I'm sorry you can't seem to comprehend what was being asked initially. I would think someone with your claimed experience level could see that. Once again, it was a post based on a particular look....not performance or availability of tires.

Furthermore, an individual has to decide for themselves what's more important to them....looks or performance. I have many toys in my shop ranging from quads, dirt bikes, classic cars, etc.... Some I have built for performance, some for looks and some for both.

You will never get an apology from a Democrat looking for a hand out..... Just sayin.

Do you have any ATVs with 24" car wheels on them?
