salmon_slayer06
I'm removing stock air box and going with proper size billet intakes to fit my 35mm keihn carbs. I'm tired of wrestling that damn air box with the tight fitting boots. Now... what is standard procedure for most of you guys running the filter pods? camp0429
You will have to secure your wiring harness different since the harness would normally be held by the airbox. Make sure you watch the little tabs on your frame for the airbox, they will rub a hole in the pods and may need cut off. You may need angled pods, I have PWK 28's and straight pods fit decent
camp0429
And probably need to bump your mains up a couple sizes and plug chop from there

Time Machine
Then be sure to check the clamps that hold the filters onto the carbs before each ride just to stay on the safe side.
salmon_slayer06
Okay. The intake boots support everything than I take it? What do you guys do with coolant reservoir?
broke350
^Yep, or you can buy a relocation bracket from JDS Customs if you want to keep yours.

salmon_slayer06
Just ordered billet intakes, 8 " angled pods w/ outerwears, cdi under tank relocator and swing arm bearings and bolt. Checked out Cory wire harnesses on facebook looks like quality stuff good price. Should be able to bump jetting up. Might mess with needle on my carbs. Heard there's been guys getting more mid power on the richer needle. With shearer pipes should be making 50 horse easy. After this my future plans are for a drag bike.
