bansheeboy91
I'm in the process of rebuilding my engine from crank up. I've got the bottom end soitting in the case, but before I seal it up, I have a question. The crank I ordered has rubber O-Rings on both sides. On the clutch side, the half moon clip sits in the same groove as the rubber O-Ring. Do I run the O-Ring AND the half moon clip, or remove the rubber rings? bansheeboy91
It's a stock crank, just an OEM replacement. As you can see, when the crank is seated, the ring gets pushed up by the half moon clip about 1/8th IN. Tedder
My new Hot Rod crank came through with rods finished like that. And to the OP - Take that O-ring off and run a clip in the groove.
