rjdgriff
You can wire in a full wave bridge to convert the 12VAC to 12VDC. Then add a battery to this. Hooking up the lights is just know which wire to wire. I know there is the dc conversion that can be done, I just have no idea how to do it lol. I'm not smart like that Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

sandman
I just picked up some MR16 led bulbs & plugged them in to the trail tech sockets. No more dimming at idle.

boarder8135
https://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/led-landscape-lights/mr16-led-bulb-1-cob-led-spotlight-bi-pin-bulb/3284/ Buy these! I have trail techs on mine and put these bulbs in (Make sure to get bright white) and everyone was extremely surprised how bright they were. Don't pull really any current at all since they are led and also they are dimmable so they don't flicker. Super happy and decided against a light bar since these do the job! Also I have no electrical conversions done, all OEM Edited November 19, 2017 by boarder8135
gusto
So those just plug in with no modifications ?
boarder8135
Yeah if you have the two prong plug that the trail tech lights require (mr16) Brightest ones I can find for the size and pull the least amount of power to run
