Oil drain plug thread size, and a toomey t5 question

Went for a short ride yesterday since the weather was decent up here. Lost a spark arrestor on my T5, couldn't find it. Started heading back very slowly so the packing didn't blow out, and my oil plug rattled out.

I knew the set screw in the silencer would go eventually. I've lost & found it 3 times but this time she's gone forever lol. I don't know if toomey had a brain fart with that design but a couple of set screws doesn't sound like the best way to secure an $80 spark arrestor. Or maybe someone "customized" the silencers, no idea.

I ordered a new plug through my local powersports store and it will most likely be here Tuesday, but I need to do some jetting changes and need a temporary plug.

So, does anyone know the thread size!?

And if you know anything about T5's what should I do about the spark arrestor?

This is a frame up rebuild of an 88. I'm not trying to compromise because I'm impatient, but also not trying to buy an $80 spark arrestor that will fall off. I have the "tea cup" looking ones, they came on the bike and I've been wanting to change to a low or mid range pipe eventually. I know people that have throw fmf silencers on but I feel like the two pipes are too different and will effect performance.

Any help will be appreciated.
