broke350
those readings were just for the stator right off the plug like the video showed. the 3rd reading from the red wire to the white wire I was suppose to get 20 ohms and I didn't get no reads there. so does that mean my stator is bad? Do you mean red to green wire on the stator plug for testing the ignition coil?
Telonbros101
yeah but my stator has different colors then what the video shows, mine has red and white and white and brown, for light 2 yellow and one black. from white to brown I got 98 ohms and from red to white I got 0 ohms and yellow and black I got .4 ohms. broke350
Well, if that's the case, then it would seem your ignition coil within the stator is shot and you need a new stator. Maybe someone else with more knowledge will chime in, but that would make sense why you have no spark. I'm not sure if the different colors mean it's an aftermarket stator, but most everything I've read on here says buy OEM only as the aftermarket stators can sometimes be junk right out of the box. Telonbros101
I'm thinking the same too, I think I new stator as well, I'm trying to find an oem stator that's not that expensive.
