jlaits
I polished damn near everthing I could this summer and it all started to rust already. Any tips on preventing this? Sent from my LG-H900 using Tapatalk
trickedcarbine
Master Formula metal gloss polish followed with their sealer. I ran a set of raw steel pipes on my ice bike for a couple seasons with no rust.
jlaits
Thanks. I used mothers after the buffing wheel and that didn't work out so well. I'll give that master formula a try this winter

Phelps
i could see pipes, but i get asked to polish steel swingarms, pegs etc all the time. nickel plating is cheap and looks like really good polished aluminum
trickedcarbine
Yeah, I would spray paint chassis parts before trying to polish them.
guns4children
Wish someone could shine up my rear Harley rim. It looks like new on the side the belts on. The other side looks cloudy I'm guessing from the brake dust.

kawa110
My sporty is a 2001...I don't have a garage and my shed is for the bikes I have in pcs...my sporty is outside 100% of the time...might come in the living room for a week or two every year. I keep it under the Eve's and don't cover it as much as I should.... Powder coating most of the porous cast aluminum so it dose t oxidize and wiped clean easy(especially the rims) I use a product called semi chrome maybe twice a year on the other aluminum and chrome.... But I don't live were it snows either. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
