Brooklyn350
Am I crazy has my rear end always been that way and I just never noticed. Just did a complete build and was adjusting the toe in on my front end when I noticed that the stator side of my axle (rpm dominator 2) is about and 1 1/2 inches longer. I did a search and the asymmetry of the banshee frame was mentioned. I can fix it with spacers just want to make sure it's normal. Already spoke to rpm confirming I have a banshee axle. Is there anyone out there with the same problem thanks in advance. Everything on the rear is new from hubs to swingarm
Brooklyn350
I don't mean that the axle is sticking out further on one side, I know the swingarm is offset in the frame by a "1/2 so to compensate one side of the axle should be sticking out of the carrier a half inch more it essentially equals the offset out. The prob I'm having is when I run a straight edge from the front tires to rear tires my distance between the straight edge is different between both sides by approx. "1.5. So basically it's like the tires aren't square on the bike. I can't believe the factory would but a quad out like that asymmetric frame or not but I don't have a factory bike to measure. Looking for any input right now because I'm stumped. If my rear is perfectly equal which it is because my measurement from center swingarm to out side tire is a half inch difference (factory swingarm offset) then how do I get diff measurements with the straight edge when compared to front tires? hoppedupandcutdown
trying to follow, but... Any way, I strap a laser level to my rear tires and shoot a beam forward to set my fronts at zero toe. Then adjust a little in. One side is a little different than the other but I'm thinking way less than 1/2"

Brooklyn350
As it sits the fronts wider than the rear right now but I used the level so you can see what I'm talking about. The front tires are straight and the level is touching the rear tire completely. You can see the the difference between the two sides by where the level ends up on the front tire. It's a good "1.5. So all four tires are not square somehow Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
hoppedupandcutdown
WOW, I'll get my stocker out the trailer and measure again. It's been a while.
Brooklyn350
Yeah I have no idea what's going on. All my rim offsets are the same and everything is put together right on top of that everything is new except the frame. I highly doubt the frame is bent because everything lined right up. sheerider11
Your axle seated correctly? Did you put it in the correct way? Carrier in the correct way? Hubs the same? Wheel offset the same? Same spacers on opposite sides?

Brooklyn350
Time for bed when I jacked the whole thing up they were pretty close within a half inch so I think the toe adjust will straighten it out I don't know wtf was up with it on the garage floor. Plus it doesn't help that I flipped the 4+1 front wheels so I can get the tool on the spindle to adjust the caster it's like every move is exaggerated thanks tho just want to ride the f**k out of this thing once it's done take some stress out of my body through my thumb lol
hercalmighty
Did you rough align your toe in? If one wheel is toed in more then the other then it would be messed up the way you are measuring Sent from my VS990 using Tapatalk
