i cant get the break thing ont eh rotor, it wount fit, were the deos the rotor fit between on the break thing, i think its the break caliper or sometihng, but i dunno were it fits on it seems to tight

I can't get the brake thing onto the rotor. It wouldn't fit. Where does the rotor fit in between on the brake thing. I think it is the brake caliper or something? But I don't know where it fits? It seems tight.

Nice, Screamin, I beat ya by seconds my cuz!! Anyways, after going through that post S L O W, I think I got the solution. You must push the piston back into the caliper when you change the brake pads. Otherwise, the new pads, with the new brake material on them will not provide enough gap to slip the disk in between them. Here is a shot of my rear brakes...

You can see the outside pad. The other pad is on the other side of the disk. Most all disk brakes work on the same principle...

 i am getting so mad i couldnt type, i dont know weather the brake rotor fits between the two squarish like things on teh brake caliper, or between teh sqaure things and teh circle thing, its hard to explain, but it doesnt seem like there is a big enough gap to fix it onto the brake rotor no matter where i put it :angry::angry::angry::angry::blink:

front/rear, don't really matter. There is supposed to be a pad against the round thing-(called a piston) and a pad against the squarish looking thing. Then, the rotoe goes in between the two. In order to fit the rotor into the caliper in between the pads,

You must push the piston back into the caliper when you change the brake pads. Otherwise, the new pads, with the new brake material on them will not provide enough gap to slip the disk in between them.
