Ayesully810
Made it out to Driveline this morning to pick up my motor. Had a good time hanging out and talking with Lane a little bit as well. Will be putting every thing back together tomorrow morning then going through the break in process the rest of the week, then it will be on the dyno hopefully Sunday. Here is the setup 421 LP Cylinders with mild port work done by Lane. SandSlingerOR
Are you going to gear up to compensate for SLP's or leave as is?
Ayesully810
Are you going to gear up to compensate for SLP's or leave as is? I'm not sure yet, I have not decided. I will probably mess with the gearing a little more once everything is situated. Ill probably rock a 14 in front and either go 41 or leave my 43 where its at. Ayesully810
Same, Claude. I have a feeling this thing is going make some great torque numbers with these pipes. I love the look of this new head too. Just waiting on my billet stator cover from JD in the mail, should be here soon.

ClaudeMachining
I am at +5, with 23cc, pump gas, snipers. You should go over 90hp

You should go over 90hp That would be enough HP to last my 160 ass for a long time still waiting on your rippin video ! haha jk
gusto
Looks good, it should rip your arms off. How much extra HP did Driveline figure you will get with the mild porting over the cast porting?
Ayesully810
Idk i didnt ask. Lane did a motor back in the spring and had it tuned at his shop there, he made 86 on pump with shearers as cast. Thats what lane told me yesterday Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Edited September 29, 2016 by Ayesully810
guns4children
I bet with those pipes you'll be at 68-74 HP but your tq curve should be good.
Ayesully810
I dont think me or lane anticipate those low of numbers but he has never seen these pipes on this setup before so he said hes not completely sure. I guess we will see Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The SLP's are making equivelant peak numbers as CPI-Shearers but doing it in an RPM range like the smaller inframes much earlier.
