Otis
Hey guys just a quick question. I'm looking to get tires for the bike, but can't seem to find the stock(21x7-10)sizes for the fronts. I've only seen 22x7's. Is everyone running a larger tire in the front? Does this affect the handling, or are you going w/ larger tires on the rear as well, to compensate? What works well? Thanks (sorry if i posted this in the wrong area... )
frocashmoney24
i run mx, and i have a 20 in the front and 18 in the back, you can get 19-22 in the front and 18-22 in the back, you just have to look in a place like www.rockymountainatv.com or www.denniskirk.com
BenBB
Pretty sure my Holeshots are 21x7x10, but like frocashmoney24 said, check out ROcky Mountain ATV, they have good prices on tires and great service.
fixitrod
I have 21x7x10 razors on the front of mine.
boonman
I am running 44x19.5x16.5 Swamper boggers, 30x11.5x15 SX swampers and 32x11.5x15 SX swampers. Oh, you mean the shee, well, it depends on the day. But, most of the time, 21-7-10 Fast trekkers are found on the front. You must not be lookijng in the right spot... TRINITYBANSHEEDUDE
Ive had the best speed and handling gains with ITP 22s on the front and 20s on the back. For sand ITP also has realy good paddles called Sand Star
evil
IM RUNNING THE ITP XCT'S 22 FRONTS AND 20'S IN THE REAR. CUT YOUR FENDERS OFF THE FRONT IF YOUR GONNA GO BIG
bronco91shee
i run 33x9.50x15's for winter and 35x15x16 for summer. My shee runs 21x7x10 fast trekkers on front, and 20x10x8 turf tamers on the rear. For sand i run 22x7x10 dune runners, and 21x10x10(correct me if im wrong)paddle masters. Those set ups work good for me, clearance and traction. Just my experience. Peace out.
Meat
I was using 20 inch turf tamers for most of last summer. 20 inch rears are my favorite size. I tore a big gash in one turf tamer so now Im running 22 inch Razrs on 9 inch douglas red labels. the razrs are big and heavy, but give alot more ground clearance. Iv had em on for the past 3 months and have em worn 3\4 of the way allready. I liked the turf tamer setup better. For front im using 21x7x10 holeshots. next front tires I buy will be 22's or maybe i'll even try a 23 inch front. I ran 22 inch fast trekker fronts allready and I like the taller front tire for where I ride.
TheNewGuy
i tried my dune runner front (22X7X10) with my haulers (20X11X10) and it felt ok...wasnt the best...thing i hated most was the way it looked...looked goofy...i like smaller tires in the front (least smaller than 22") Mike
Cotton eyed Joe
I'm going to get the 21" mohawks from RMATV this week I hope. I also will be running 21" Extreme rears, but for now 20" Haulers. Meat: Your finger is really crooked.
Otis
Bronco91- what brand are those 35 15's? I just put another set of BFG AT's(33 12.50) on my truck(for now) but am looking to get some 35's after Christmas. Santa said if i was nice, "she'd" get em for me (and a lift)...... So is there any real advantage/disadvantage running a 22 up front and the stock (20) size in the rear, or is it mostly personal pref? thanks guys by the way, my Holeshots did the same thing (sidewall puncture) kinda sucks cause they're not even "broken in", but i guess that's the price we pay to play...oh and yeah, whats up w/ the finger???!!!... ...just kiddin
