sheerider11 Posted August 12, 2016 Report Posted August 12, 2016 I would run straight fuel and see how it responds Quote
travisg77 Posted August 12, 2016 Author Report Posted August 12, 2016 I missed the fact your running race fuel... at 150ish PSI and no porting and +4 timing you should be more then fine on pump. If you have access to only shity gas stations id maybe run a little race fuel but def not 50/50 I have a 250R that I mix 50/50 with. That's why I have been using it. Probably a little over kill for the Banshee with the current mods. Quote
travisg77 Posted August 12, 2016 Author Report Posted August 12, 2016 Would I be safe going down to 27.5 on the pilot with my current setup. When I adjust my air screws my idle keeps going up a little when I back them out. It idles higher at 2.5-3 turns out then it does at 2.-1 turn out. I thought I read on here that if it does that then the pilot needs to go down one size until you get it around 1.5 on the air screw... Thanks Quote
travisg77 Posted August 12, 2016 Author Report Posted August 12, 2016 odds are your loosing power running race fuel on the banshee and race fuel does tend to throw off plug color Really? OK I'll try some straight old 91 octane then. Quote
Dunatic619 Posted August 12, 2016 Report Posted August 12, 2016 Keep the race and increase compression and timing. Id go 180 psi and +6 on the timing. Quote
travisg77 Posted August 12, 2016 Author Report Posted August 12, 2016 Even without the crank being welded? Quote
travisg77 Posted August 13, 2016 Author Report Posted August 13, 2016 Yeah I need to. Next thing on the list. Quote
