Damn, I'm thinking of the same move,, jus wondering if servals are as fast as a cub cylinder .. I've never rode either one, jus wanna make the decision before I install my cub..

Serval will never be as fast as a properly set up cub. That being said, servals are a badass all around motor. They will have a much broader power curve and more rider friendly. I just sold my 10mil serval and it was definitely a very fun motor. There is no way I would try and run my 10 cub in the trails like I did the serval

whats the specs on the porting / domes (compression ect)... what was it ported for?

Thanks,

Jesse

Sorry, was on vacation and not checking bhq.

I don't know porting specs. I think domes are 21cc. Had it set up for 1/3 -1/2 mile oval on ice. Ran VP C12

Why the switch to a serval?

Going to be racing some tighter TT tracks and smaller ovals this year. The cub rocked on big 1/2mile tracks, but not the best in the tight TT stuff.

I just want a little more power on the low end and a smoother curve.
