trickedcarbine
Make sure the brass vent tubes on the bowl aren't bent.
sleeper06
What did you set the floats to 16mm and did you do it correctly

trickedcarbine
There's the problem. Vent lines are going under vacuum if you're using a lid or top mount filter. They need to draw air in and like that, it's possible they are doing the opposite. Try it with the lines vented to atmosphere.

Kleinki
Just to clarify... Even when she is off the petrol runs so it cant be the vent tubes.... Is there anything else that can go wrong that will make the fuel run out..
hoppedupandcutdown
Inspect and clean the needle/seat valve.

hoppedupandcutdown
"I remember one time, I bought and installed a brand name NEW nitrous oxide solenoid valve and the first time we purged it a small half moon shaped jag of metal stuck the valve open and drained the whole bottle. Turned out to be a shard of metal from tapping the holes in that assembly when it was built"
sleeper06
I wasn't saying anything negative, just wondering if you tilted the carb on a 45* to set the height, stock carbs set diffrently. I've see many people set keihin like stock carbs and have overflow issues as well as a few lean condition
Kleinki
I was reading that because the carb is sitting with a slight angle on the single intake, blokes are bending the tip of the copper tube a bit upwards to counter the angle. Any comments on that.. I dont wane block it off all he way like some riders scared of flooding the bike like crazy...
RIPPIN' IT UP
Had a cracked overflow tube on a keihin carb once on a KTM right down the bottom of the tube. What is the model of carb & what is the rate that the fuel runs out at, has in drips per minute sort of thing?
