I'm not sure I luckily have never personally had an issue. I think it's from not lapping the flywheel to the crank and it arcs. But since I read that, I run a ground from engine to chassis. Might help, might not. But it doesn't hurt. My nology hot wires also have ground straps to the head. I went to walmart and got a lawn mower starter cable. Was like 8 bucks, I think like 2 or 4 gauge with 2 nice eyelets. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
