KamiKonze
Ok... So jetting isn't my greatest strong suit.... I've been looking at the Lectron Carbs wanting to try them. But a lot of people say they are worse than regular carbs. Any thoughts on the Lectrons? Good? Bad? Surfrjag
I would go with pwk carbs on gas
KamiKonze
I mean I don't want to fiddle fart around with jetting all day, are the pwk carbs easier to jet? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
KamiKonze
And also, is there an advantage to running two carbs on a non big bore motor? Or is the dual carb setup really only for big bores? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
JTmachining
All carbs need to be set up right to work right. Lectrons are high maintenance compared to PWKs
KamiKonze
Ok this might sound dumb but aren't the PWKs the carbs with the power needle? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
trickedcarbine
Negative. You're referring to the jet fed by a tube off the bowl, correct? Those are called power jet. Some factory 250 dirtbike carbs had them but I think they were electronic. Lectrons have power jets as well.
JTmachining
Lectrons have metering rod. PWK has needle
KamiKonze
Is there any real difference? Pros and cons? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
sheerider11
Not to be a dick, but if these are questions your asking you need to stick with basic carbs

KamiKonze
To be totally honest, I am just looking for info on which carb is best for me, and how to jet it correctly. I thought the experts here would know a bit more than I do now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
