EmpirE231 Posted December 5, 2003 Report Posted December 5, 2003 I would just like to know what the jetting should be for a pretty stock banshee w/ the t5's and a k&N? Quote
zR2 Posted December 5, 2003 Report Posted December 5, 2003 its all gonna depend on your elevation above sea level b/c of thew denseness of the air. I had T5s on my old she and i had 280mains 27.5pilots toomey needles i believe on the fourth clik and air screws about 1.5 turns out full fully in thats at baout 1000 ft abve sea level. go to www.toomeyracing.com for more details i think thats the sight Quote
EmpirE231 Posted December 5, 2003 Author Report Posted December 5, 2003 thanks for the help, isn't glamis at about sea level? Quote
BenBB Posted December 5, 2003 Report Posted December 5, 2003 Yes Glamis is real close to sea level. If you're running a K&N in the airbox with no airbox lid (what I would recommend, with an Outerwear, but you'll need an adapter plate that doesn't rely on the airbox lid to secure the air filter in place), I'd start with 320 mains, 30 pilots, airscrews 1.5 turns out, and needles in the stock (middle) clip position. Assuming premix ratio around 32:1 and temps 60-80F that should be a safely rich starting point, and if it bogs at WOT you can work your way down on the mains until it revs out clean. Good luck. Quote
