beiercaden10
I have an 89 and from what I was told when I purchased it, it's Ported and polished running rz350 carbs. Has fmf exhaust, twist throttle. No clue if the cylinders are stock. Guy said it was rebuilt 10 years ago but only has 15 hrs ride time on it. Kinda bought in a hurry just to have it and might have screwed myself. Been a real hard starter since I got it. Cylinders randomly misfire and die out. Other times it runs like a raped ape. Today after rebuilding the clutch bomb mess I made the other day, I got on the road and got up into 6th and it just cut out on me. When ever it's ridden hard for more than a few seconds continuously it just bogs out and dies. Where do I start? Is this an ignition issue? Am I over heating it somehow? Can it be set on fire and pushed off a cliff legally? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk
sleeper06
Get a manual and check the electrical specs on the components. The do the 2 major test , compression, pressure test( leakdown). It's time to start eliminating possibilities. With a new to you machine this should be done for piece of mind
Larry's Shee
As mentioned you need to go through everything. Electrical and fuel. From tank vent to float level. Stator to spark plugs and everything in between. While carbs are apart to make them pussy clean, write down jet numbers. Check cooling system, impeller good?? Btw, I don't think RZ carbs are any different.
beiercaden10
I wasn't sure if they were any any different from stock. The guy was just talking them up like they were the best thing ever. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk

Yamahafan#1
I had a rz 350 motor on a 87 banshee and the carbs were different then my carbs on my stock banshee, Idk if the tz 350 banshee had the stocker carbs though. Good luck man
