locogato11283
Does anyone have a 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 with nerf bars? My brother has ordered two sets that have some fucked up mounting system and we sent them back. I am looking for a 5-6" oval that mounts to the cab mounts. Do the Westin nerf bars mount to cab mounts? The two sets he ordered were Lund. Total junk in my opinion. Looking at these.. http://www.autotrucktoys.com/ram/Westin-Dodge-Ram-6-Polished-Stainless-Steel-Premier-Series-Oval-Nerf-Bars-PRD35719.aspx
registered user
I take it you never go off road ? those steps are the first thing to get smashed and get you high centered. amp research has some sweet power fold up units
registered user
and eventually they rust out and look like dog poo
locogato11283
JFC. It's not an off road truck. I had some on my 2005 that were ten years old that never rusted. If I could remember what those were I wouldn't be posting.

hoppedupandcutdown
According to Westins catalog the 22-6030 with install kit 22-1015 fits 2007 quad cab Dodge and mounts to the body mounts, not the rocker. https://westinauto.uberflip.com/i/473104-westin-2016-application-guide on page 23 Better page w/ link to instructions http://westinautomotive.com/premier-6-inch-oval-tube-step-bars-22-6 The link you posted probably is just that. Summit Racing sells them separate for $440 Most company's went to the inner rocker mount style to appease the body lift crowd.
trickedcarbine
These look like they go to the body mount and are bigger. The 3" seem a touch to small and people slide right past them. http://www.carid.com/dee-zee/5-oval-aluminum-nerf-bars.htmlThe DeeZee stuff ain't bad. The truck I used for roofing was all Done up in their gear. Pretty rugged.

0sikshee
I have oem mopar chrome oval with black step pads that hold up good & don't look bad. I believe 03-16 all have the same frame mounts. Which gives a couple different styles to choose from.
