2007 Dodge Ram Nerf Bars

Does anyone have a 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 with nerf bars?

 

My brother has ordered two sets that have some fucked up mounting system and we sent them back.

 

I am looking for a 5-6" oval that mounts to the cab mounts.

 

Do the Westin nerf bars mount to cab mounts?

 

The two sets he ordered were Lund. Total junk in my opinion.

I take it you never go off road ? those steps are the first thing to get smashed and get you high centered. amp research has some sweet power fold up units

I had some on my 2005 that were ten years old that never rusted.

 

If I could remember what those were I wouldn't be posting.

ya if you never go off road they probly wont rust. check out the power fold up stuff they look 100x better. cant even see them unless you get under the truck

Power fold ups are junk....seen multiple pair fuck up after just a little dirt got in them. Wouldnt open all the way or close sometimes.

Amp research has great shit. I believe they offer both power and fixed. I have an amp research rear bumper step on the work truck and really like it.

These are only 3" so not a good reccomendation, but you want them to mount like these correct?

According to Westins catalog the 22-6030 with install kit 22-1015 fits 2007 quad cab Dodge and mounts to the body mounts, not the rocker.

Most company's went to the inner rocker mount style to appease the body lift crowd.

 I have a 07 i bought used that has some that i thought were factory installed.Have you tried to source them through dodge?

I have oem mopar chrome oval with black step pads that hold up good & don't look bad. I believe 03-16 all have the same frame mounts. Which gives a couple different styles to choose from.
