You can't run leds on a banshee. They have an electrical system that was produced before the led was made. The stock bulb on banshee uses the hair from the now extinct Bohemian wild horse for the filament. That I part of the reason banshees are no longer made.

Buy lights, Mount them and wire them in a toggle switch to a rc car battery. Works great. Will run for up to 8 hours on a single charge

You can run them without the battery but they might only last you a couple minutes or a couple months it's a risk. This topic has been covered buy a few of us and the better les risky way of not ending up blind on a night ride is adding a battery.

Your call.

You dont need a batt at all

If you want lights when engine is off, then you need a battery setup.

Some people run LED without ac/dc converter and it work most of the time.

If you want a good and uptimal setup, buy an ac/dc converter and plug your LED on it. That's the best way.

I had about 40min on my LED's before one went out. And that's with a ac/DC converter and the lights off 99% of the time. Cheap China crap.

I've been running led's for a few years with no issues.  I did a DC conversion, bought a reg/rec, and a small battery.  By far the best light mod, as far as I'm concerned.
