Juststrokeit
Last time I had the banshee out it ran good. Really good. I finally got a day off so I was gonna do some maintenance. Drained the oil and when I was about to put the drain plug in, I seen a chunk of metal hanging from the hole. Used pliers and pulled it out. I am guessing it's a spacer piece in the transmission between gears. What do you think? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Surfrjag
That may be the bearing stay for the counter shaft bearing?
Juststrokeit
That may be the bearing stay for the counter shaft bearing? What exactly are you talking about..? I'm thinking it's either 25, 8, 10, or 11..

Surfrjag
Pull the clutch cover and clutch off and see if that bearing is coming apart. Or anything else... better to do now than wait for it to lock up.
Juststrokeit
Well that bearing just came apart on me a few rides ago.. I replaced it.. Maybe I didn't see the debri in the bottom of the case when I changed that bearing... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Juststrokeit
Hahaha.. I blew that bearing and replaced the transmission and bearings.. Now my first oil change after the bearing blow out I find that peeking out of my drain plug hole.. sleeper06
That looks like the washer that rides against the retainer clips in between gears, I've seen all sorts of funky shit with them knurling over, missing, wedged between gears , you name
