Once upon a time, there were a couple of guys. They worked for a big company. They really liked working for the big company - this is a rare thing! The two guys happily put their life into the company for a long long time. Then, one day, they were accused of doing something by the company that they didn't do. As a matter of fact, there was irrefutable proof that they didn't do it! It seems that the two guys had access to company secrets. This was no big deal - pretty much everyone at the company had access to some sort of secrets. Now it just so happened that the company sold a product that people bought and were happy to own. So much so that there was an online community dedicated to the company's product. The two guys belonged to the online community. However, they were always very careful not to share any information that was not already publicly known. The other members of the online community, sensitive to the position the two guys were in, did not pressure the guys to reveal secrets. Now there was a secret revealed - by someone else. That secret was posted on a different online community and a different member of the online community the two guys belonged to posted the information. The big company, needing a scapegoat, decided to make an example of the two guys. It seems there was some sort of technicality that the guys had infringed on. They probably deserved a warning or perhaps even a formal reprimand. However, as of this writing, the two guys are in jeopardy of losing their jobs after many years of loyalty and dedication to the company. What ultimately happens remains to be seen. Folks - what you read above was a real story. It is happening to two employees of the Daimler-Chrysler corporation. Their names are Jose and Otto. They were blamed for releasing info and pics about the new 6.1 Hemi. They work with the LH platform and had nothing to do with the release of the 6.1 HEMI pictures... I understand that this isnt banshee related but I beg you all to at least take a look... These guys were screwed..... Please help.....I also know that this will probably will be moved to another forum.. Moderators... Please understand that I am trying to help out some people that I know and trust. Other than a banshee I also own a 01 Dodge Intrepid and am a member at that site. I am trying to help some fellow members out. Wouldnt you all do the same?
