Bike at sea level 421 cub cpi oof pipes mikuni tm 36 carbs airbox lid off im at 50pilot and 340main the plugs are dark(rich) Can anyone help me tell me what size main i should go down to

ya why? 50pilot come stock with the tm 36 have not changed it yet

I'm chasing the same problem . my plugs look exactly the same . are you getting a low end bogg after its warmed up . mine is bogging like a son of bitch when warmed up. But hits hard past 1/8 to wot . I do a lot of trail riding so think I'm narrowed down to rich pilot circuit. Good luck man hope you figure yours out as well .

50 pilot is gonna be huge for Mikuni's. Yes its stock in the TM's, but that's for when they get tossed on a 250cc single cylinder. That's the equivelant of a 500cc banshee. You'll probably be happy with a 32.5 pilot.

What about the main jet 340 seem to big ?
