jsaylor
Hey everyone, I just got my bike rebuilt and went to a ported 4 mil. The problem is I can't get the jetting lined out. Any help will be appreciated. This is what I got and where I'm at. After several tries I got the idle and 1/4-3/4 throttle good. It's wot that I'm having the problem with. When I'm cruising along and hammer the throttle it's like there a big lag. Like the bike doesn't build speed or rpm. Then when it finally pulls powerband it's starts to sputter then clears up. I just dropped down from a 320 main to a 310. Noth much difference. I'm afraid to go lower without someone opinion. 1200 asl .20 over 4 mil with agrees ice trail port uni pod stock carbs v force 4 reeds fmf fattys. Any help appreciated!!! Surfrjag
Is your stator or cdi or flywheel aftermarket? Is the pickup gap set at .020"? Did you test for air leaks?
jsaylor
Cases held 6 pound for over 2 hours. The stator is aftermarket. Haven't checked the pickup coil. Can the pickup case similar problems?

sleeper06
Put a 360 main in it , 30 pilot, toomey needle 4 th clip. Sounds lean to me. All my aggressive 4 mills jet no lower than a 340 so start a lil higher and read plugs

Surfrjag
Jetting def needs to be addressed but that stator needs to go first. Guess i should have worded it better.
