Strm Trpr
This is what you get from Mull Engineering... Pretty sweet if you ask me!! I'm hoping for a decent boost in power over a stock head. Switching the setup in anticipation of the Redline Serval build coming this summer. Gonna run 33mm PWK's w/pods, UPP cross-over intakes, VF4's, Mull Pump Gas Head and PC's w/304 silencers in Pismo for Memorial Weekend.

Craig B
Was thinking of doing this with my pump gas build. Can they do that for a 68 mm bore?

Strm Trpr
33mm PWK's w/pods and Outerwears UPP cross-over intakes VF4's Mull Pump Gas Head +4* timing PC's w/304 silencers in Pismo for Memorial Weekend. Looking for jetting starting point with above mods at sea level.I've got the following jets and needles: 48-55 pilots 150-160 mains CEL and CGL needles Tyler mentioned this in another thread I started. 160 main 48 pilot CEL needle on middle clip Air screw .5 out Tune the pilot first. Make sure it starts and idles. Make sure you don't have any lean hang. Then go ride it. Couple WOT plug checks. Adjust accordingly. Then adjust needle if needed. Then fine tune air screw. That's how I'd do it anyway.
Oldskool83
I have this on my bike. It helps a lot. I saw more torque and snap on throttle also. I could dog the bike down to like 3mph never use clutch and just mash throttle and it would rip. Doing this mod make the bike act more like a 4 stroke, just mash and all torque. Best $100+ I've ever spend. I run 91-93 gas mix 40:1 maxima oil 12T front 41T rear gearing fmf pipes EHS air box lid prodeisgn foam filter jetted 30P 280 Main OEM carbs Its pretty fun. Going to try +4 timing next and then leave it alone. Compared to what other companies do to heads theirs is nicest ive ever seen. I had Eric Gorr do a head on my kx112...well lets just say it looks like it was spun on lathe by a student learning...nothing like mulls stuff! Strm Trpr
Anything to bump up the compression and help make combustion more efficient is always a plus in power. Advancing the timing to +4 on your bike is going to give you more snap and response with more torque and power. Have you done a compression test on your motor after the Mull engineering had install? Oldskool83
I didn't yet. I have a compression tester I could try. From kicking it over it felt a tad harder but not too much. My bike was all stock just rebuilt topend on stock size pistons
Strm Trpr
What elevation? I'm at sea level. Brandon from Mull told me that with stock ports and his pump gas head my motor should be right around 155psi +/-5psi of compression. I hope it's closer to 150psi cause all I have is 91 craptane. I might have to pull a degree or two of timing if there are any signs of deto...
